Post No. 35
( Thur. 11:13 a.m.) Once again I had a lot of trouble sleeping..I was up until five this morning, but I awoke feeling rested and have that same happy sense of well-being I have been having these last few days. It did rain last night as the weather report stated yesterday but it has stopped and the sky is blue and the sun is shinning. Me and Perkins went downstairs and I fixed myself some super tea. Perkins mellowed constantly for the canned food but I am out of it today and don’t like giving him the wet food all the time. I will pick up a few cans maybe later today. He is over at his food bowl right now eating the dry food as I write this. I was thinking that Perkins would make a great children’s book. I might try that with the Blurb program. The one photo that really cracks me up of Perkins is this ONE. ha,ha,ha. He does not even look like a cat in that one..he looks more like some animal from the amazon.
I checked the CA Lottery this morning…guess what?…didn’t win. I did however match the powerball so I get my dollar back to try again. Debbie and I have decided not to get married in the hot-air balloon, the cost is too much for us right now. We will still take a ride in one sometime in the future. It is on our list of things to do in our lifetime.
ARTLINK : Bernard Dumaine
(3:11 p.m.) I have enjoyed working today on my art. I am experiencing a calmness during my work that I have not had in many months. A light touch upon the pencil..a freedom of flowing movement. Now, I am going to go out on the bike..I don’t want to stand over the work like I have in the past, until I build up tension. Walking away from the piece and taking a break during the day is helping a lot.
( 7:19 p.m ) I spent the rest of the day on the bike trail. I will post links to photos I took while I was out below.
