Post No. 30
( WED. 10:34 a.m.) Even tho I was so sleepy and tired from lack of sleep last night…I was up until three this morning. I did however sleep until ten, which gives me about seven hours. That is as close to eight hours sleep as I have gotten in a while and I do feel rested this morning. Yesterday evening I did have Debbie download the Blurb program so we could check it and start making a book. It is very nice and one could make a very nice book with this program. I am looking forward to getting started. At this time I am just goofing around to get the feel of it and become accustomed to the interface and features. I have already figured out I will need higher resolution photos for the project. Photos of my work have always been a headache to me. The thick graphite and the shine it produces in photos made it very difficult to achieve good images of my work. Below are a few links to reviews by people that have made a book with Blurb. 1. (5:00 p.m.) I have just returned from a bike trip down the trail toward Santa Rosa. It felt good to get out and stop thinking so much. When I go for these rides I ride on the Joe Rodota Trail.
(11:26p.m.) Debbie and I just finished watching Aurora Borealis a moive with Donald Sutherland. It was very good..touching at parts and it can cause a tear to form on one’s cheek. We didn’t do too much this evening except watch the movie and have supper together. We had orange chicken that Debbie had bought from Trader Joe’s grocery store. Debbie had also bought two big cinnamon rolls with icing…they were the biggest cinnamon rolls I had ever seen. She kept pecking at them all evening until she had half of one ate…and sick. I actually stayed away from the pencils and anything that had to do with my art all evening…not an easy thing for me to do once I get obsessed about it. Debbie had pointed out the other evening that I had reached the stage in my mental cycle where I would need to step back away from the desk so I would not completely loose it…ha,ha,ha. As soon as the movie was over Debbie headed straight for bed. She has an early morning meeting tomorrow and needed to get to sleep.
