Post No. 29

( TUE. 8:16 a.m.) I did not get to sleep until around four this morning then I got up at 7:40 so I could see Debbie before she left. I walked about the kitchen like a zombie who had just crawled out of a grave…staggering, eyes closed most of the time, and groaning gibberish. I can’t see me making it too long this morning…I am swaying back and forth in the chair, eyes opening and closing as I drift in and out of consciousness…thats it!..back to bed for me.

(12:07 p.m. ) I awoke once again to start this day at around eleven thirty. I then went downstairs and fixed a huge cup of coffee. The Perks is not around at the moment. I think he may have went into Josh’s room.

I uploaded the final version of the photoshop Spaghetti Western spoof I made with images of my parents, kids and myself to Flickr last night.

SPAGHETTI WESTERN / Gringo

Last night when I was browsing the Flickr site. I came across a link to Blurb, a book making program and service. I found this very interesting and would like to try making a book of my artwork and and concepts. I will ask Debbie this evening to download the free version of this program to the PC or Mac so I can try designing this book idea. It would be great to have the Oneiric Realism book in hardcover. The purchase price of a 10″x 8″ / 81-120 page hardcover is $39.95. This would be a great portfolio. I could also offer it to the public, signed at a fair price. I am very excited about this idea. (1:22 p.m.) I stopped my work for a moment to see if I could find an address of Leonora Carrington and came across the site of Bridget Bate Tichenor. I will have to look into this artist later today and find out more about her. Now, on another page I found a reply to a post asking the contact information for Leonora Carrington. The post states the following:

Leonora Carrington, whose name is connected with “Weisz,” since that was her husband’s name is listed in the official Mexican telephone directory. The address in the Mexican White Pages refers to Mexico City ( Ciudad de Mexico ) , where Mrs. Carrington is living and working today, so it is most likely also the address of her studio. Also here is a list of galleries that represent Mrs. Carrington.

Denenberg Fine Arts/ 417 San Vicente Boulevard, West Hollywood California. email : Gallery@denenbergfinearts.com

Chac-Moor Gallery / 8920 Melrose Ave. Los Angeles, California
email : chacmool@earthlink.net

The Remba Gallery / 462 N. Robertson Blvd. Los Angeles, California 90048 / email: remba@earthlink.net

(3:14 p.m.) Now I am taking a break from working to find any information about Dorothea Tanning.

The Dorothea Tanning Foundation / 145 Hudson Street, Suite 11 NE / New York, NY 10013 / 212-219-2004 /fax: 212-334-0006

I have now found another address for The Dorothea Tanning Foundation.

Dorothea Tanning Foundation INC. 131 Varick St Rm 1004 New York, NY / 10013-1417

This last address seems to bring up results. LINK
