Post No. 15

( 1:12 p.m. Friday ) Debbie and I went to Costco to pick up some groceries. I bought a jogging suit for working out and when I take the mountain bike out on the trail. I have been recording old blues for my Zen Sleek MP3 player through out the day. ( Sat. 1:45 a.m ) I am sitting here at the computer since I can not sleep. I thought I would sit here and try and add more to this post about the day. Not really much to write about. I spent more time with the watercolors and ink at the drafting table off and on today. I am getting satisfactory results from these sessions with the watercolors. Debbie and I watched the movie “Recuse Dawn” this evening. After the movie we worked on my music collection for the mp3 player. Debbie went to bed and I stayed up till midnight working on my artwork. I was awoken by intense dreams and had to finally get out of bed and come down to sit here at the computer. ( Monday 4th 1:35 am ) Sitting up late recording Psychedelic music. My experiments with watercolor and inks still continue with results that seem like psychedelic art. I doubt that I will come up with anything that I will add to my collection but it is fun and I like watching these piece form. This gives me a way to break up the intense time spent on Dream Matter. I am also thinking of doing some cartoon style pieces after working with these mediums. I have always liked the work of Ralph Steadman and Gerald Scarfe I would do cartoons in the manner of these two artists. Debbie started a colored pencil drawing of a frog this weekend. I am glad to see that with this new job she will have time to return to doing art. She worked at home and this ended up with her working around the clock and having less time than if she was to work outside of the house. It will be good to see her at her drafting table along side me again.
