Post No.1

I awoke this morning, which is always a good sign and a nice way to start the day. I came downstairs and fixed my usual breakfast, an english muffin with egg, cheese and a Morningstar”fake” sausage. The beverage of choice is what I call “super tea.” The recipe is five lipton tea bags boiled to a nice strong dark colored goo. This is then poured into an old mason canning jar with a few ice cubes tossed in. The mixture is a bit tricky, if you get it too strong, the mixture causes profuse sweating and vomiting. It is a learned balance.I sat down at the table where the Mac computer now resides and turned it on. I thought I would go online and check out starting another blog online. One that I could just ramble out gibberish from my skull. Why! you might ask. I don’t really have an explanation for it. What I do know is I spent way too much time trying to make the header for this blog with photoshop after breakfast. A neighbor of mine once said ” The computer is nothing but a time eater.” and it never fails that time is sucked away from the day by this contraption. I am not getting much artwork done lately. I moved my studio out into the garage this fall when it was still warm and now it is way too cold to work out there. I have a little electric heater to use but I just don’t know… I think I am burnt out from the last three years of non-stop drawing. All I can do is wait for the work to begin once again. It is a strange life being an artist…I can see why so many go insane. I am stopping here for today. I basically wanted to get a post up and get this started.
